Metal Shaping Seminar Each
seminar is a one day event with a lot of information and hands on
learning. Seminar will
start at eight (8) a.m. and finish at five (5) p.m. with a break from
noon until one (1) p.m. for lunch.
Lunch will be provided. This
time will be used for show and tell of projects you, the participant,
are working on or have done. Please
bring safety protection; ie. hearing protection, gloves, and welding
helmet. These will be used
in the projects and demonstrations. The
demonstrations and hands on participation are as follows: Demonstrations:
Pattern making; Stretching and shrinking and form; Shaping a
bowl/spoon fender; Cutting bowl/spoon fender; Tack welding, tig welding
and metal finish; Leading a seam; Hand shrinking, heat shrinking and
hammer forms, Anealing aluminum, and Shaping a reverse curve. Hands on
participation: Wire edge
and beads; Pulmax beading; Stretching / shrinking a flange on Ekold
Kraftformer and Hammer form; Planishing on a Bowl/spoon fender; Yoder
Hammer - stretching, shrinking and reverse curves. Cost of Seminar is $200.00. Dates: Feb 2, 2004 and April 24, 2004. Enrollment for the seminars will be on a first payment received,
first payment served basis until filled.
Due to the time limitation only 15 participants are allotted for
each seminar. Please send

applied to the next available seminar or you may request a request a refund.
