Metalshapers Retreats on the Washington
Coast: Lodging included. Our units will sleep
up to 8 individuals for hands on metalshaping
seminars. Dormitory style sleeping
arrangements. Full kitchens, cable TV, VCR,
DVD, and a great walking beach is about 90
seconds from our porches. We can accommodate
couples in a separate unit. Add $50 to the
cost for a couple, with one not attending the
class. Full rate for each if both attend
class. From October through the end of April,
$200 per person for either one or two nights
stay on weekends (your choice), and 6-8 hours
of hands on instruction. May through
September, seminars will have to be on
weekdays only as that is the busy season for
vacation rentals. Motel and state taxes
apply. Each seminar will have a minimum of 4
people, and a maximum of 8. A deposit of $50
per person is required in advance to reserve
a spot. Payment in full is due 5 days before
the retreat is scheduled. I accept Paypal,
or your check. Shorter individual lessons are
also available. Please contact me for
additional information and dates. We will
cover the use of simple hand tools, using the
shrinking disc for dent repair and
metalshaping, and the english wheel.
Stretching, shrinking (extra emphasis on tuck
shrinking), and smoothing without spending a
fortune on tools. Short video demonstrations
are included. We are in Moclips, about 3
hours from Seattle, just north of Ocean
Shores.
